5. ‘Treasures on cobblestones’ Tourist Route, Conducted by the Spanish-American Craft Museum of Tenerife (M.A.I.T.)
The Spanish-American Craft Museum of Tenerife-MAIT, a subsidiary of the Tenerife Island Cabildo (local island government), organizes guided tours that provide visitors with a day of cultural leisure.
It offers a tour of the Historic Centre of La Orotava, including the entrance to three museums: Spanish-American Craft Museum of Tenerife-MAIT, ‘El Tesoro de la Concepción’ Sacred Museum and the Ephemeral Tapestries Museum, finishing in the MAIT with a gastronomic tasting and Canary Islands’ wines.
To enjoy these visits, it is necessary to pre-book at the Spanish-American Craft Museum of Tenerife-MAIT, two days before the date of the route. In the case of groups, the reservation will be made one week in advance.
Hours: 10.30 a.m., Thursdays (except holidays). Spanish, English and German.
